Dave goes Dave shopping.

I needed a laptop table. So I went to the place where couple goes to have a fight, IKEA. I knew what I wanted so I dodged the fighting couples, the screaming children and the woman that where there with there best friend who had collected gigantic mountains off IKEA tidbits and plants. Got my Dave and a Signum for the power supply and got out fast, happy I was still sane. Now I have done my part of IKEA assembly so I got the thing quick together and surprisingly there was no part left that you don’t know where it fits but actually is the main structural component.

A KZ III hanging from the roof.

I missed a bus so went to have a pee. The DTU Technical Library had a toilet but they also had a KZ III hanging from the roof. It belongs to Teknisk Museum and Cimber Air.

Got a logo a last

For a long time I have thought about a logo for my blog.
I was pretty clear that I wandtet the neo sign fra Good Everything Beer bar on second road Pattaya. I did not have a picture off the sign and the pictures I had seen from the 3 Dave's did not have the hole sign. But I found this:
Good Everything Beer Bar
And then the pixel moving started.

The Airbus A380 comes to CPH for the first time.

Lufthansa A380

So went to the airport to see something "veeryy iintersting". At home I checked CPH's webcam3 to find out what direction for takeoff and landing they was using today. But it was to early and to dark anyway to find out. So I made a choice and went to Kystvejen.

It has been great fun to do because I have learnt a lot of neat tricks on Blogspot and Google maps. I would specially like to thank the master himself Andy for his great tips about geotagging i Blogger. But also found a lot of interesting stuff about my journey that I didn’t know.

A brand new SAS NexGen

My ride home

The check in for the RKE-CPH was some what chaotic because of all the airshow guest, but the nice check in lady laughed about my joke about how many Star Alliance bomus miles i could earn (great circle mapper said 21miles :0)

Krung Thep Mahanakhon

I had a plan about writing about the Thai name for Bangkok because its the longest because its the longest place name in the world. Krung Thep Mahanakhon Amon Rattanakosin Mahinthara Yuthaya Mahadilok Phop Noppharat Ratchathani Burirom Udomratchaniwet Mahasathan Amon Phiman Awatan Sathit Sakkathattiya Witsanukam Prasit.

A mad dog, Dolph and the NexGen

I had been looking forward to Sunday d. 21 august for almost 6 month since I read that the Red Arrows was coming to Roskilde Air Show 2009. I have never been to an airshow before and never seen a aerobatic flying display before, so I looked anxiously at the weather forecast all week.

Junction View

Or an ode to ye train spotter.
Because of my Suvarnahumi fad I did the Airport link on a map, then I needed to do both the Eastern and Northern line. I discovered the "page break" problem in Google My Maps (a "feature" that Google Maps mobile don't have, but I can't calculate routes though) but I found a solution with main lines and secondary lines separation Bangkok mass transport in its own map.

Snake in a boat

The first thing my father did in Chaing Mai was an arrangement with a guide with a minibus. Son we went to Doi Suthep one day and 2 days later we went for a tour to the Golden Triangle. In the package there was a 2 hour trip on elephant, but my father didn’t want to do that. He had tried it before a thought it was a backbreaker, on my next trip to Chaing Mai on “Tour de tuktuk” I tried a ride my self, my father was right.
