The Airbus A380 comes to CPH for the first time.

So went to the airport to see something "veeryy iintersting". At home I checked CPH's webcam3 to find out what direction for takeoff and landing they was using today. But it was to early and to dark anyway to find out. So I made a choice and went to Kystvejen.

There was a lot of all sorts off people at the embankment by Øresund, camera freaks, point and shooters and families with children.





I didn't expect that the was there to watch the ordinary Lufthansa Regional CRJ900 landing.

The star off the show was scheduled for 7.55 but was 20 minutes late. But it wasn't raining and sometime the sun peeked through the skies. But a last a big "thing" came into the horizon.

Ohh it was a smooooth landing. And even if I knew that the A380 is a very quiet plane, I was still surprised how small its noise footprint was.

After the landing the taxied to the new cargo terminal, CPH's terminal is not A380 ready yet.
